I am a Junior Software Engineer, experienced in a variety of tools and technologies in a professional setting with Java being my most proficient. I currently work at Vodafone developing in Java and Kotlin as a Back-End engineer on their customer website. My team is responsible for improving, adding new features, and maintaining the site by addressing any bugs that arise.
I graduated from Oxford Brookes University in the summer of 2020, having achieved a 2:1 in Computer Science BSc (Hons). I have acquired strong technical knowledge throughout my degree having completed various projects, including developing and building a solar tracker, creating an SQL forum website, and developing a game. A placement year at IBM gave me the opportunity to apply this practically within industry for the first time, as well as develop my understanding of working within business.
I am a highly motivated individual with sound experience of working within various teams across different projects, whilst being able to work independently, ensuring deadlines are delivered on time and to a high standard. I am looking for a role within an organisation where I can put my energy and knowledge to good use while developing my skill set further.
